'US, Britain seek to wage World War III over Syria conflict' - Jul 8, 2012





The meeting of the enemies of Bashar Al-Assad in Paris: the final statement for President Assad to stand down, to massively boost aid to opposition and for crippling sanctions against the govt. The calls are in sharp contrast to an agreement they made in Geneva a week ago. But do any of these actions take into account the Syrian people? Would a Chapter 7 of the UN charter, ranging from economic measures to military force, if necessary, aid the transformation for Syrians, who are experiencing reforms coming from Assad, including a new govt.? Russia and China don't think so. This edition of News Analysis discusses the Syrian crisis.
